My method is mostly intuitive in that I trust you have your own best answers, and simply need the space and the support in order to access them. Coaching is a partnership and is a helpful tool as we so often look for answers outside of ourselves when we can access our own truth when we feel safe to be our authentic selves.
I am not only a certified Martha Beck Wayfinder Coach, I am also certified by the International Coaching Federation. There are many who call themselves coaches that do not have this valuable training.
My role as the coach is to allow the client to lead the session in working on what is currently most important to address in their life. I coach with as much transparency, authenticity and openness as possible.
I have a plethora of life experience from being a business owner, mother of three adult children, survivor of deep loss, daughter of mentally unwell mother, women’s and men’s support groups facilitator and much more. While I have been married for over 30 years, I have at times found it best to live separate from my husband while staying committed to our marriage. I not only understand the complexities of human relationships, I’m living it and respect that there is no one size fits all for our lives and relationships.
I continue to do my own self-care work through receiving spiritual direction, therapy, coaching, as well as maintaining regular practices of meditation, journaling, participation in support groups and more.
